OUR MISSION
The purpose
of Creative Kids Corner is to provide a high standard of quality childcare
and early
childhood education by enriching your child's learning through physical,
cultural,
and social experiences.
OUR PHILOSOPHY 
At CKC
our philosophy is based on a fine tuned balance between cognitive, creative,
and social
development. Well planned physical-motor activities contribute to
growth
in all
areas. Children learn and build on their knowledge and understanding
by
actively
engaging in their environment.
OUR GOALS
It is
our goal to encourage each child to learn and develop to his or her fullest
potential,
to be well educated, and to be a good person too. Our center provides
a
nurturing
environment with teachers who encourage your child's curiosity, creativity,
self
confidence, as well as their ability to share, cooperate, respect their
environment
and everyone
in it.
Programs
We Offer
Infants 6 weeks to 12 months
The infant nursery is
a spacious, colorful and stimulating environment. Each infant is
given
lots of love, respect
and guidance. We make great efforts to provide proper stimulation
throughout the day
to ensure healthy cognitive and social development.
Toddlers 12-36 months
Toddlers are active
learners and our program was designed to provide plenty of "hands-on"
learning experiences.
We provide a safe and secure environment for your child with a caring
and loving teacher
your child can trust. Each child is given respect, guidance, encouragement,
and support to practice
new skills such as walking, talking, toilet training and sharing.
Preschool 3-4 years
The preschool years
are a time of experience for your child based on thematic activities and
"hands-on" learning.
Songs, music and movement, drama, art activities and field trips are
part of our program.
Our preschool teachers encourage participation in play and structured
activities to further
develop social skills and cooperation with others. Our program
is complete with learning
activities involving numbers, letters, shapes and colors.
Pre Kindergarten 4-5 years
The Pre Kindergarten
program is designed especially for children who will begin Kindergarten
the following school
year. This program builds on the preschool curriculum with an emphasis
on Kindergarten readiness
skills. Letter and number recognition, following directions, fine
motor and coordination
skills are just a few of the abilities we focus on.
Adventure Corner K-6th
Before and after school
programs provided for children in Kindergarten through the 6th
grade. Our programs
are designed to meet the changing and demanding needs of school aged
children. Building
on the programs mentioned before we try to offer school aged children an
intellectually stimulating
environment as well as a place to unwind, get help with homework,
and experience their
creative side. Additionally our facilities are located just three
blocks
from Wellington's Eyestone
Elementary. We have daily pickup and drop-off to Eyestone
Elementary so you don't
have to.

strive to
provide
